straight friend: aw I don’t understand why you’re still single
me: because approximately 8% of the us population identifies under the lgbtq community where 1.1% identifies as lesbian female, 3.5% as bisexual female, 1.7% as gay male, 1.1% as bisexual male, .3% as trans, and .3% as something else, then there’s finding someone who I’m compatible with emotionally, physically, and romantically from less than 8% of the population, and may or may not live near me
Everyone who suffers from social anxiety needs a friend who will
- help them order food when it’s too scary
- walk with them through crowded places
- help them laugh it off when they make a mistake
- not get tired of answering “no, you’re not annoying, silly goose! You’re adorable and I love you” no matter how many times it’s needed
and if you’re that friend, bless u for being fab <3
Why don’t I stand out.
Why don’t I stand out on the soccer field,
Why don’t I stand out in orchestra,
Why don’t I stand out in robotics,
Why don’t I stand out in class,
Why don’t I stand out in the halls,
Why don’t I stand out on the streets,
Why don’t I stand out in my family,
Why don’t I stand out at all.
I guess I have no ammunition to compete with,
I’m un-noticed and not needed why should I be here,
I’m better off dead.
It’s a scary process so make sure your prepared for any and all responses. Find the right time and there’s no rush do it when your comfort and I know your scared everyone is when they come out is the feeling you get when you come out THATS what’s going to be the best. I hope I answered your question. Have great day and good luck!
